Mary Dale Walters is the senior vice president of Strategic Communications. She focuses on the company’s efforts to ensure advocacy and access to a continuing quality of life for tens of thousands of customers across the country.
Mary Dale’s responsibilities include development, implementation and delivery of the company’s national communications and public policy strategies. Under her leadership, the company developed and launched a range of services for the consumer and commercial markets, including Allsup Benefits Coordination, Allsup Medicare Advisor, Allsup Veterans Disability Appeal Service and the Allsup Disability Life Planning Service. In addition, she developed and managed brand and other sales and marketing programs for the company.
As a member of senior management, she guides the evolution of the company’s brand and presentation of services and solutions for consumers, clients, investors, audiences, regulators and associates. She oversees legislative affairs, public relations, communications programming and strategic alliances. She reports to Jim Allsup, founder, chairman and CEO.
Prior to joining the company, Mary Dale was vice president of global marketing and communications for LexisNexis where she oversaw the company’s global brand migration, global marketing, e-marketing, marketing communications, public relations and crisis communications. In addition, she was North American Director of Corporate Public Relations for professional information and software services companies Wolters Kluwer and CCH INCORPORATED. Her career also includes management positions with Edelman Worldwide, Spiegel and the Midwest Alliance of Nursing.
Mary Dale graduated with honors from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is member of the St. Louis Forum and is a docent for the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park in Kirkwood, Missouri.
