Healthline indicates that many individuals experience intense anxiety during the fall season for many reasons, such as anticipating the stress associated with the holidays or grappling with the failure of not completing a goal this summer. Changes could manifest in fatigue, excessive worry, headaches, nausea, loss of appetite, lack of concentration, constant sweating or sleep issues.
In some cases, increased anxiety can lead to severe depression. Keep in mind that depression, especially in combination with other severe chronic illness, can affect one’s ability to work.
